Our Wedding Vows
Troy:
It is with great joy that I, Troy, take you, Naomi to be my wife. It is before God, our family & our friends that I make these vows to you.
Naomi, I promise to be faithful to you, to cherish you, to trust you, to honor you, & to love you as long as I have life.
Jesus Christ has commanded me to follow His example in loving you as He loves his church. Therefore, I promise to love you sacrificially, unselfishly, to tenderly care for & protect you. As the head of our family I promise to seek God's guidance by His Spirit through the Word, & lead our family in a life that is focused on God & our faith & hope in Him.
Naomi, these things I pledge to you, regardless of what lies ahead. My life, to you, that we may become one.

Troy, I promise to be faithful to you, to honor you, to support you, to trust you & to love you as long as God gives me breath.
The Bible has also commanded me to take the relationship between Jesus Christ & His church as an example so that we may have order in our home. As the church is submissive to the leadership of Christ, I promise to be obedient to you & submit to your leadership in our home. I promise to support you unconditionally as we seek God's will in our future decisions.
