Nunquam Non Paratus

At my Roots

The last several days I have been in Edinburgh, Scotland. My ancestors were part of the Johnstone clan that came from an area not too far from Edinburgh. While here I have been working on several videos for our website. We got to interview the Pastor and his family about their use of The Lamb book and how it was a blessing to their family. We have also done some other videos that should be appearing on our website in the coming months.

Lots of Johnstones in the area.

I ha' a wee bit o time to see the sights here in Edinburgh, including the imposing Castle. The church we have been fellowshiping at is located on the Royal Mile, the street running from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace at the other end of the street. This is a beautiful old city with lots of character. I have way too many photos and not enough time to sort through them, but here is one to prove I was here.

Ellie and Adelaine's doll Tux (the Linux mascot) is also along for the ride. Here he is with some local friends getting a tour of High Street in Edinburgh.
