Today I discovered the first hint that Ellie is going to have my “sick” (as my wife calls it) sense of humour.

While playing with Ellie I coughed once. She giggled.

I pretended to cough the second time.. She laughed.

I coughed a third time and she thought her dad was the funniest person on the Earth.

I continued to pretend to cough and she fell down laughing at me. Apparently the more hacking your cough the funnier it is.

Already she can laugh at other’s pain. Does this mean she will eventually laugh at The Three Stooges with me? This should be fun.
