Art Gallery

For the last few months the girls have been taking art classes where they have been learning about different media and methods to create with. The last day of their classes was an art gallery where the students got to display their artwork!

I asked the girls to pose with their favourite pieces.

Great job Ellie and Adelaine!

Ellie’s new laptop

Over the weekend Ellie decided that the kids all need their own computers, so she set about making some.

I’m not sure what this says of her understanding of the purpose of having computers.

The three kids spent part of the weekend typing away on their new computers. Ellie even put shiny tape on the “screen” of hers to simulate glass. Ethan and I watched a few movies on his computer. There was no sound since Ellie had forgotten to draw speakers on his computer , so Ethan had to narrate the entire movie .

So there you have it. A little creativity and now we have three new computers on the cheap. Thanks Ellie.

Maybe I should get her to make me a new GPS.

Epic Sword Battle

Elements of the 1st Spaz Battalion launched a surprise attack on an unsuspecting victim. The assault was carried out by mounted cavalry, and both light and heavy infantry, who attacked with ferocity, swinging their foam swords like wild, crazed people.

The heavy infantry in the midst of the assault.

The cavalry mounted on heavy war broomstick horses.

The defenders were able to use foam defensive weapons and tickles to drive the attackers back to their bedrooms where they barricaded themselves. While the battle field is quiet now, hostilities could resume at any time.

Mother’s Day Cards

This morning the kids made some Mother’s Day Cards for Naomi.

Adelaine’s card features her and mommy in the ’80s. They both have “poofy” shoulders.

Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful wife and mother of our three munchkins who love their mother lots and lots!
