In today’s weather report, Albertans continue to suffer in their second week of unseasonably cold weather. With daily highs 15-20 degrees colder than the historical average, it seems winter has come early. “Its stinkin’ cold!” reported one local as he quickly made it from his car to a Tim Hortons to warm up.

First snow of the year was on October 4th. More has come down since as temperatures stay very low.

With nighttime lows in the negative double digits, there are reports that many Albertans are grinding up copies of “An Inconvenient Truth” for extra insulation in their homes, and some are being forced to burn Al Gore in effigy just to stay warm.
