Let the tan begin! Today is a wonderfully warm day. So nice, in fact, that I decided to expose my legs to the sun for the first time since our long Canadian winter began. I think the glow from my legs blinded an old couple driving by the house.
Its great to be Canadian.
STEAK! Naomi spoiled me for supper with a steak, stuffed baked potatoes (potatoes that are baked, then the contents scooped out, mashed and mixed with cheese and put back in the potato skin!), and a ceasar salad. It was even a quiet meal with just me and my wonderful wife as she had dropped Ellie off at a friends house for a few hours.
Oh yeah.. I had some cards and presents too. Yup, another April 10th, another birthday. Life is good. TJ
Stated so matter-of-factly that in creating the little things here on Earth, God also created the beautiful and imcomprehensibly huge heavens above.
Last night I spent some time out observing this footnote of creation with my telescope. It was an wonderfully clear and steady night. The Cassini division in the rings of Saturn were easily seen, along with other features of the great ringed planet.

Literally.
Naomi took this photo last week of the wild turkeys that kept showing up in our yard. Not the kind of birds I expected to see at my feeder… I was afraid they had surrounded the house and were going to demand retribution for our meal the other night. “Come out with your wings up!”
For all those out there who don’t believe in absolutes, here is one you can’t argue with.
Rule: Before you shake any given food container, make sure the lid is on securely.
Note the pulverized plum on the table, floor, chair, high chair, pants, shirt, arm.. in fact, just about everywhere.
